Music Administration, Founder of Alisa Wessel Musicverlag

After a commercial apprenticeship at the CD press plant PolyGram in Hannover and subsequent activities at Deutsche Grammophon, Polydor/Universal Music (Hamburg), Global Chrysalis Music Publishing (Munich) and BMG Rights Management (Berlin), Alisa Wessel founded the Alisa Wessel Musikverlag and the Service Bureau for Songwriters & Artists in 2013. Since 2014, Alisa Wessel has been leading workshops on “GEMA-Practical Knowledge” as a lecturer, including at the Music Pool Berlin. Alisa Wessel and her company are members of the Berlin Music Commission, the IG Jazz Berlin e. V. and the Association for the Promotion of Pop Culture (Pop Culture Award). Since 2016, Alisa Wessel has represented as a delegate the interests of the extraordinary and affiliated GEMA members of the publishing profession in the GEMA Assembly of Ordinary Members.
